Film Texture And FocusIn my many trials and errors as a student of film emulation it has come to my attention on a subtle characteristic that has not really been experimented with in the league of film emulation.
Using simple few simple commands in PSP 8,
Blur-Average-set to "3"
and then followed by
"Sharpen More" or "Unsharp Mask"
This creates a type of, how else to describe it but "film" over the image.
Now this of course would be useless for any super high quality lens look, but seems oddly like Polaroid shots or Toy/ Low Tech 35mm cameras.
Perhaps it does something to recreate the look of the "bubble lens"?
I've never tested this on moving images, but it may be useful for an 8mm look.
